Nourishment Without Compromise: Food Untethered and Hiquid Food Join Forces

In a world where food technology and nutrition are evolving rapidly, two pioneering companies are joining forces to make everyday nourishment more inclusive, natural, and empowering. From December 2025, Hiquid Food and Food Untethered will launch a collaborative access to meals designed specifically for people who rely on enteral nutrition—meals delivered through a feeding tube, consumed as nutritional drinks, or used to fortify home-made meals. All made for people who still deserve real, whole food prepared with care and quality.

Whole Food, Real Nutrition

For too long, people in need of enteral nutrition have faced limited choices, often relying on conventional formulas that lack organic ingredients, flavour, aroma, and the authenticity of real food. Hiquid Food, a Norwegian company, has been working to change that by creating a freeze-dried powder made from whole foods that blend easily into a liquid meal. Each recipe is carefully developed to provide balanced nutrition, both for complete meals and for fortifying a person’s own dishes.

Food Untethered, based in the United Kingdom and known for its bold approach to food innovation and inclusivity, brings a creative edge to this collaboration—rethinking how meals can nourish both body and dignity, regardless of how they’re consumed. Together, they’re proving that “food freedom” isn’t just a concept—it’s a right.

Expanding Access: UK

After establishing a strong presence in the Scandinavian market since 2023, Hiquid Food will launch in the UK in 2025. Through Food Untethered’s local market development and distribution network, these products will become accessible to healthcare providers, caregivers, and individuals seeking a natural, sustainable approach to enteral feeding.

The goal is simple yet ambitious: to make whole-food nutrition accessible to everyone, regardless of how they eat.
