Who can enjoy Hiquid Food meals?
Hiquid Food is designed for people who are tube-fed or able to drink nutritious, blended-style meals and who digest food well. It helps them follow the same dietary guidance as those who eat orally.
Not suitable for children under 3 without advice from a healthcare professional.
How long does it take to make?
Very quick—Measure, Mix, Mealtime!
- Measure the powder.
- Mix with hot liquid (85–100°C), add oil if needed, adjust consistency.
- Serve—ensuring it has cooled (max 38°C for gastrostomy).
Orally fed individuals can season to taste.
Why must the powder be mixed with boiling water first?
Boiling water ensures food safety. Because the product contains real food with no preservatives, heating the powder when the pouch is first opened eliminates any potential bacteria and keeps every meal safe.
How do I make a Hiquid Food meal?
Mix the powder with boiling water to form a smooth paste, then thin it with water or a calorie-rich liquid of your choice.
Always check the temperature before feeding, never give hot blends through a tube.
How should I store the powder?
Keep it sealed, dry, dark and at room temperature. Use before the expiry date, don’t use if the pouch is damaged, and don’t mix with medication.
What is Hiquid Food powder?
Hiquid Food powder is Food for Special Medical Purposes. For the dietary management of children (over 3 years) and adults requiring gastrostomy or in case of disease-related malnutrition. Not suitable as the sole source of nutrition.
How much Hiquid Food powder should I use?
Every dosage and energy need is individual, so healthcare professionals should define dose according to energy needs.
